BMW CEO Krueger hints at new 'i' car

BMW CEO Harald Krueger hinted that the automaker could add a new drive to your sub i.

BMW now sells battery powered compact hatchback i3 and i8 plug-in hybrid sports car.

Krueger said there might be room for a new electric car that is placed between the i3 and i8. "There is no room if you look at it from the point of view of number," Krueger told the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung when asked if he was planning new models.

Krueger said he could not give more details at this time. Reports have said that the model could be a sedan called the i5 based on the 5 Series would be sold Caterpillar 320D injector valve as a plug-in hybrid, and as the only electric car that completed against the Tesla Model S.
