German auto giant BMW Group is going to display the all-new China-made BMW 3 Series, the BMW X7 and the all-new BMW Z4 at the upcoming Auto Shanghai 2019, Jochen Goller, President and CEO of BMW Group Region China, disclosed in an interview.
According to Mr. Goller, the BMW X7 will be available for pre-order at the Auto show and is set to hit the market in May after one-month presale. The three-row luxury model will offer two seating configurators (six-seater or seven-seater) to meet different consumers' needs.
The all-new BMW 3 Series, among 21 new BMW-branded models to be rolled out in China this year, will make its debut at the Auto Shanghai 2019 next month. Mr. Goller said the yet-to-be-unveiled refreshed BMW 3 Series (the seventh-generation) will provide a standard wheelbase and a long wheelbase version and is expected to go on sale in June.
Boasting 50:50 axle load distribution, the all-new BMW Z4 features tires with wide contact area and a compact wheelbase, making driving more dynamic and precise and bringing more driving pleasure. Besides, the all-new model is outfitted with LED follow-up control headlights, the HUD (head-up display) that is used in roadster for the first time and BMW's innovative HMI (human-machine interaction) system.
