FAW Group Corporation (FAW Group) and China Southern Airlines signed a strategic agreement in Guangzhou on August 13 to jointly explore new business modes in such areas as mobility and marketing, according to the state-owned automaker's official WeChat account.
Under the partnership, both companies will join forces to provide mobility solutions for end customers relying on FAW Group and its Hongqi brand's powerful strengths on vehicle manufacturing and marketing and rich mobility resources, along with China Southern Airlines’ advantages in air transportation network, with an ultimate goal of building a sound mobility service ecosystem.
In addition, the automaker and the air transportation service provider will fully exploit their resources and marketing merits and carry out multi-dimensional affiliate marketing activities to realize precision marketing and comprehensively enhance each other's brand influences with the demands of target customers as focus.
To maintain a long-term stable strategic cooperation, both parties will build a regular system that helps them strengthen the exchange of corporation culture and management philosophy. Besides, two companies wish to further deepen their partnership and expand collaboration areas by exchanging their business experience and conducting employee training programs.
Reportedly, Hongqi, the premium passenger vehicle brand of FAW Group, will provide the first batch of vehicles for the mobility services jointly developed by both companies.
