These technologies have been applied in the future K50, and a large number of tests can be guaranteed in the event of extreme weather or collision vehicle safety.
Lightweight Technology of Vehicle
In the vehicle lightweight technology, the future car full use of new materials for the vehicle, "reducing fat by muscle." Future K50 aluminum frame body and carbon fiber body panels, compared to traditional body and chassis design, curb weight reduction of about 250 ~ 300kg. The entire car carbon fiber body cover, the weight of less than 100kg, demonstrated its lightweight technology in the vehicle ahead of the stand. Significantly reduce the weight of the vehicle, reducing the number of power battery use, and thus optimize the acceleration and braking performance, the future K50 zero to 100 km acceleration only 4.6 seconds. It is reported that the future of automotive production base in Suzhou will focus on "lightweight body" to create, including "carbon fiber rapid molding workshop" and "all-aluminum body welding workshop", including the new production system. Expected in 2017, the factory will begin trial production.
