Ford Motor Company's General Counsel and Head of European manufacturers are retiring at the end of the year, part of a series of management changes announced today car manufacturers.
David Leach, 54, who is Ford's general counsel, the Bradley Gayton, 52 years old, instead of the company secretary and general assistant consultant since 2005.
"David has been a great partner, and has cultivated a winning legal team for Ford," CEO Mark Fields said in a statement. "David and his team have also been accepted Ford's commitment to making people's lives, through their own welfare and active community service better."
In Europe, Linda Cash, 53, will succeed Jeff Wood, 55, is vice president of manufacturing. Cash since March has been the Director of Operations for Ford of Europe vehicles. Wood's career began more than 30 years at Ford, including time in the North American manufacturing execution as well.
"Progress in his career at Ford, Jeff has made a significant contribution to our productivity in the United States and Europe, resulting in strong earnings quality and our plans for European Reform in," Fields said in a statement. "He also had our truck assembly operations played a key role, and provide Ford customers with the world's best-selling pickup truck."
Ford also made three changes in its Asia-Pacific operations performed. It appointed Peter Fleet, 48, as vice president of sales, service, and Bill Russo, vice president of the region, 61 in manufacturing.
Russia successfully Gary Johnson, 51, who will return to the US "special assignment related to the global production plan," Ford said. Johnson set up 10 factories in the Asia Pacific region in the past three years to support car manufacturers in other parts of the rapid development of China and the region.
Fleet action is to take effect on December 1, vice president of Ford of Europe and the occurrence of January 1 fleet replacement sales will be announced later the rest of the changes.
