Tesla spokesman Dave Arnold said a bucket of "standard building cleaning solvent" spilled at the loading dock. "Some of the employees exposed to the area of hazardous substances are being transferred to the local hospital," he said. "But he said he would not have an impact on the production of Tesla."
Nevada Gaodi County Emergency Management Bureau director Joe Curtis said there was no threat to the public, he said the fire department is on site to identify the leak of harmful substances.
Tesla also said emergency staff were investigating leaks on harmful substances on the battery plant in Tesla, Nevada.
