Geely MPV plug-in hybrid version patent images exposed

The patent images of the Geely MPV plug-in hybrid version were exposed in recent days. It can be learnt from the Chinese logo at the rear end that the automaker has prepared several options to name the MPV model, such as “Bole”, “Binhao”, “Binle” and “Xinghao”.
Featuring Geely’s latest iconic design language, the new MPV plug-in hybrid version adopts the ripple-shaped intake grille and the LED headlights embedded with chrome trims inside at the front end. The rear end looks quite neat. The taillights on the both sides are connected by a thick chrome bar, creating a widened visual effect. 
The MPV model measures 4,706mm in length, 1,909mm in width and 1,664mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,805mm. Three variants by seating arrangement will be offered to users, namely the 5-seat, 6-seat and 7-seat layouts.
The new model will allow consumers to select amenities based on their own demands, including LED headlights, front fog lights, sunroof, rear logo, panoramic camera, radar, front camera as well as ACC (adaptive cruise control).
It is reported that the new model will be powered by a 1.5T engine with maximum power of 130kW and a ternary lithium battery pack. Besides, the model will offer all-electric driving mode despite positioned as a plug-in hybrid model.
It is noteworthy that the rear logo in the patent images reveals nearly 8 options for the MPV model’s Chinese name. Some names typically feature Geely’s family traits, such as “Bole”, “Binhao”, “Binle” and “Xinghao”, etc.
