Recently, FAW - Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. under the "defective car product recall management regulations," the requirements of the AQSIQ filed a recall plan, decided from now on, recall the following part of the vehicle, a total of 577590 vehicles.
(A) from September 10, 2009 to May 9, 2009 during the production of some of the Golf A6 1.4T, 1.6L, 2.0T car, a total of 416364;
(B) from July 5, 2010 to March 1, 2012 during the production of some Sagitar 1.4T, 1.6L, 1.8T car, a total of 161226 vehicles.
Some of the vehicles in this recall range, in the air humidity is high, rapid changes in temperature and vibration and other specific circumstances, the protection of external lighting fog may be due to overheating failure, resulting in some outside the car lights (such as the right front side of the light Lights, left rear brake lights, license plate lights, etc.) can not work, there are security risks. In this case, the vehicle circuit to ensure that other lights around the vehicle to continue lighting, the instrument panel display will be issued to the user abnormal light warning. FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd. will replace the improved lighting fuse for recall vehicles within the scope of the vehicle to eliminate security risks.
The recall is carried out in the case of the AQSIQ start defect investigation. For some time, the AQSIQ defect product management center received complaints from consumers that reflect this issue. Upon receipt of the complaint, the AQSIQ immediately deployed the defective product management center to carry out defect investigation and evaluation on the above issues. Affected by the investigation, FAW - Volkswagen Motor Co., Ltd. decided to take the recall measures to eliminate security risks.
