Volkswagen Group said its goal is to sell 10 million this year after the September car sales rose 3 percent, to 881,300.
Higher sales in China and Europe have helped to offset the volume of the United States and for the weakest group, owns Audi, Porsche and Bentley luxury brand, as well as Marques amount of Volkswagen, Skoda and Seat of South America.
Volkswagen Group's nine-month sales rose 5 percent increase to 7.4 million, carmakers said in a statement.
