According to "defective auto product recall regulations" requirements, Kia Motors (China) submitted a recall plan to the State Administration of Quality Supervision on March 21, we decided that, effective April 1, 2016, to recall some Sorento diesel version of the model, involving vehicles total 8549.
Recall models: January 10, 2010 to March 6, 2013, the date of production of some 2010-2013 Sorento diesel models.
Hazard: When prolonged use of lubricating oil can cause excessive wear of diesel driven high pressure pump parts, with output power occurs when decline and the warning lights, etc., may occur when starting failures continue driving.
Workaround: Kia will recall these models, within the scope of the recall toll-free replacement of high-pressure pump improved.
