According to Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (GAC), on December 30, 2017, GAC signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Public transport Group Co., Ltd (Guangzhou Public Transport) to cooperate in mobile travelling, energy efficiency and new energy vehicles (EEV and NEV), transportation service, intelligent transportation and brand promotion.
In accordance with the agreement, both parties will take advantages of resource complementarity in mobile travelling. They will jointly make research for providing workable solutions to travelling problems through integrating Internet with transportation big data.
In terms of EEV and NEV, GAC and Guangzhou Public Transport will promote the application and improve the service quality of EEV and NEV in such areas as, network layout of city transportation, taxi, bus and ride-hailing service, etc.
In the field of transportation service, both of them will make efforts to expand the business scope and deepen the cooperation.
Besides, they will work together in intelligent transportation, accelerating the process of building new smart Guangzhou city.
In the aspect of brand promotion, GAC and Guangzhou Public Transport will carry out co-marketing to enlarge influences of their brands, win more reputations and improve their core competitiveness.
Apart from above mentioned aspects, both parties may continue to discuss the cooperation possibility in E-commerce, finance, insurance, etc.
